A noteworthy placing was by North Texas's own, Randall Harris, who brought home the silver medal for the superheavyweights and the highest finishing for the USA team. For a complete listing of the meet results, go to www.powerlifting-ipf.com. This year's team was fairly young and many look forward to competing next year in Venezuela.

We are pleased to announce that this year's recipient of the Billy Jack Talton Coach of the Year Award is Texas's own Jim Ford. He has played a vital role on the Junior World Team Coaching Staff for the past 4 years as well being an active member of the USAPL Coaches Committee. Jim has also coached many lifters at the local, state, and national levels. This year he contributed to the Longhorn Powerlifting program, which placed 3rd at Collegiate Nationals against much larger teams and had one lifter win a slot on the Junior National Team.
